Sister Selma Cooter's Novice Project
July 2nd, 2017

Sisters and Guards dressed in their tiny itsy bitsy teenie weenie yellow polka dot bikini at OHenry's to intercede for our Community's car's filthy habits and wash away it's sin. We figured it would be easy: your's need more than soap!

We collected $350 going directly to Youth OUTRight: the only youth advocacy and leadership non-profit organization in the region solely dedicated to empowering lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning/queer, intersex, asexual and allied (LGBTQIA+) youth ages 14-20 in Western North Carolina.

Walk a Mile in Her Shoes

Sister Easy Monaye's Novice Project
May 6, 2017

Easy created a team to participate in the Annual "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" walk benefiting Our Voice: who serves all individuals in Buncombe County affected by sexual assault and abuse, through counseling, advocacy and education.

The team collected $270 that went directly to Our Voice. Also, the BCS walk with the Community and had a joint booth with WNCAP during the event to reach to our Community and let them know that the Sisters are here for everybody!


1st Annual BCS Easter Bonnet Contest

In honor of the Anniversary of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and the tradition of SPI, the BCS celebrated their 1st Annual Easter Bonnet Contest. 

We had performances by local drags, and few of our own Sisters, games, drawings, silent auction, and more. We were able to collect a total of $1,500 that we donated to the Western North Carolina AIDS Project (WNCAP) who's iedicated to prevent new cases of HIV/AIDS and promote self-sufficiency in people living with HIV.  WNCAP provides HIV-related client support, prevention, education and advocacy activities guided by the belief that all people are entitled to equal access to health care and disease prevention.


Merry & Bright

Gd Ivan Slutty's Novice Project
November / December 2016

The Beer City Sisters did a series of fundraising events for the Western North Carolina Project (WNCAP). During 6 nights (plus one extra event) Sisters and Guards gather at OHenry's to have a series of games, events, and fundraising events to gather donations. This donations will help WNCAP ensure they kids of their clients had a merry and bright Christmas.

We collected a total of $1,581 for WNCAP and Merry & Bright. A symbolic check was presented to representatives of WNCAP on December 16 at OHenry's.

Your Sister Want You to be Safe

Gd Chester Cub's Novice Project

Chester took upon him create the BCS Fair Play Kits. Taking the formula already know from the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and honoring the tradition started many years ago.

Chester imagine the art and idea for the campaign, which consist of a business card for the FPK, a brochure and posters that were setup at different venues in town.
